If you're seeking a tranquil escape in Anuradhapura, Liyana Holiday Resort might just tick the boxes. During my stay, I reveled in their breakfast, which featured traditional Sri Lankan dishes that captured the essence of local cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant added a touch of comfort to the dining experience as I settled in. What stood out was the attentive staff, particularly Dhanushka, whose willingness to accommodate requests made my stay seamless. I even faced a situation with a flat tire, and the team sprang into action, arranging transport without a second thought. The rental bicycles I borrowed, however, were a bit worn, which detracted slightly from my exploration of the nearby ancient city. Liyana provides a pleasant base to immerse yourself in the rich historical tapestry of Sri Lanka while enjoying the calm of its surroundings.
